The river conditions look great for the opening of the salmon season tomorrow. The opening day itself on Portnacraig Pitlochry Beat is kept for Club members, but we have plenty of availability on other days. Our last opening day fish was in 2013 when Gordon Nichol gave himself and the beat a great start to the season with a magnificent springer of about 21 lb on a yellow and black tube fly on Pitlochry bank at the Moulin Burn mouth.
