Having spent the last four years as grubs in the soil, the end of May/ beginning of June sees the emergence of the cockchafer beetle, this one was in the office flowerbed. They were nearly eradicated in the middle of the 20th century through extensive use of pesticides and while they can be a pest to plant roots, we think there should be space for them, what do you think?
