Scotland’s Hotel & Spa is perfectly positioned in the centre of Pitlochry, a beautiful Victorian-style holiday town. In addition to the main hotel, we also have two neighbouring traditional houses that provide excellent and thoroughly peaceful accomodation. Ideal for families or small groups travelling together.
The vivid colours of the Faskally Restaurant are contrasted by the crisp white linen on the tables. We use local Perthshire produce and organic foods where possible. The restaurant offers a variety of dining options including set menus, daily favourites and a selection of signature dishes. The local malt whiskies of Edradour and Blair Athol, amongst many others, are always available in the lounge bar.
We invite guests to indulge in our indoor pool and Jacuzzi during a visit. These are complemented by a sauna, steam room, gym and solarium. For an extra treat, book a session in our Sonas Spa where spa therapies and beauty treatments are available.
When you choose to visit Pitlochry – there’s lots to see and do; for families, couples and groups alike. Perthshire has a vast golfing heritage and offers the challenge of 40 courses, most of which can be enjoyed with the purchase of a local golfing pass. In addition, both St Andrews and Carnoustie golf courses are within easy reach of Pitlochry. Canoeing, kayaking, canyoning, gorge-walking and whitewater rafting are all available locally and offer truly unforgettable days out. There are plenty of mapped local walking trails to follow. The Hermitage Trail is ten minutes from the hotel or, for something more strenuous, the Cateran Trail and Rob Roy Way are for serious long-distance walkers. There are also excellent quiet roads, trails and estate tracks that are perfect for cycling adventures and exploring. Ski enthusiasts and novices alike can enjoy hitting the slopes when on holiday in Pitlochry. Three of Scotland’s main ski centres are within easy reach; Glenshee, the Lecht and Cairngorm. Enjoy a day on the piste or get active with some snow-boarding. Guests staying at Scotland’s Hotel can expect to be spoilt for choice for things to do whether it be visiting castles, palaces, gardens, museums, adventure centres or wildlife parks.
