Two areas of outstanding natural beauty in one fabulous route!

A walk that has everything!  Two areas of outstanding natural beauty - the Pass of Killiecrankie and the Linn of Tummel as well as bridges and viaducts, woodlands and wildlife, monuments and memorials, a loch and a spectacular gorge.

 

At the start of this walk visit the famous dam and fish ladder before following the route that includes walking along the banks of Loch Faskally though mixed woodlands, passing the 7th century Priest's Stone and the Memorial Arch at Clunie Power Station.The walk crosses the Coronation Bridge, from which the Linn of Tunnel is just a short distance downstream. Stop at the quaint parish church at Tenandry before the route passes the spectacular viewpoint at the Soldier's Leap at Killiecrankie. On the return route back to Pitlochry, enjoy the flora and fauna on the forest road above the A9.
